From Learning Engineering to Practicing It

Turning knowledge into real products through embedded firmware, connected lighting systems, and the responsibilities of professional engineering.

At Eaton Lighting and later Signify, I developed firmware for connected lighting and IoT products. This work gave me experience across development, verification, firmware updates, and collaboration with hardware and test teams.

As my responsibilities grew, I also coordinated firmware activities and worked with colleagues across disciplines and locations. These roles helped me understand how individual technical decisions fit into the broader work of delivering a product.
